FRAME 0017 / PICTURE START
One code name. Three erased wars.
They were never soldiers.
They were the people sent after the record had already been burned. Across seventeen years and three films, Ghost Division follows the abandoned operators of Cell Nine as they uncover the machine that made them disappear.
Restored from camera negatives, field audio, and one damaged surveillance reel.

“You can erase a unit. You cannot erase the debt.”
At 03:17 local time, Cell Nine entered the Orison relay beneath the dry reservoir.
Their orders named a data recovery. The recovered ledger named their own command.
Mara Venn transmitted seventeen seconds of evidence before the carrier was severed.
Command designated every surviving member hostile and initiated the Hollow Crown protocol.
No extraction was dispatched. No casualty notice was issued. The unit ceased to exist.
“The ghosts were not the dead. They were the names we refused to remember.”— ELIAS ROOK, LAST RECORDED DEBRIEF
ACTIVE FILES / CLEARANCE OBSIDIAN
Former continuity officer. Can identify any lie except his own.
Cryptographer. Built the dead frequency, then learned who was listening.
Recovery specialist. Keeps a paper list of everyone who did not return.
Architect of Cell Nine. Her voice survives on every compromised channel.
Six operatives cross a border that does not appear on any authorized map.
A coastal receiver records Cell Nine broadcasting from a dismantled station.
Every emergency frequency in Vesper Strait repeats a list of erased names.
The archive surfaces. Four survivors receive the same impossible coordinate.
One damaged carrier survived Orison. Move the clearance scanner to reconstruct what command tried to erase.

“The order was never to recover the ledger.
It was to make sure we were inside it.”
SEVENTEEN SECONDS FOLLOW. NO VOICES. ONLY RAIN.
ARCHIVE SUPPLEMENT
Director Sabine Vorst refused a soundstage for the Karst crossing. The company filmed for eleven nights inside an abandoned lime quarry, lighting the horizon with salvaged railway lamps. The actors never saw the full set at once.
Composer Niko Vale created the sequel’s signature pulse from a detuned cinema organ, bridge cables, and the electrical hum of the location generator. Its lowest note was removed from early prints after projection booths reported rattling glass.
The final chapter intercuts 65mm photography with fictional surveillance stock. Each format carries a different version of the truth. Editor Lea Morcant concealed twenty-three single-frame documents throughout the Orison sequence.
