01 · The concept
The central promise is absolute singularity: no two physical decks in the world alike. The site proves that promise rather than merely stating it. The usual luxury-commerce hero becomes a “living cabinet” surfaced in violet velvet, oxblood lacquer, bone stock and gold rules. Precise numbers—seventy-eight cards, 330 gsm rag, eleven to thirteen atelier weeks—keep the ceremonial fiction materially credible.
02 · The card grammar
The signature lives in main.js. seedNow() creates a 32-bit seed and mulberry32() turns it into a repeatable stream. compose(seed) chooses a suit, number, title, oracle fragments and paired symbols. cardSVG(seed) then draws the face from scratch: borderGrammar() switches among arched, hexagonal, circular and cusped frames while generated ticks and suit marks alter their rhythm.
emblem() returns path structures for moons, keys, serpents, towers, vessels, eyes, gates and thorns. Two marks are nested at different scales and opposing rotations, producing hybrids instead of premade illustrations. patternCard() also seeds each reverse with its own lattice angle, repeat and corner key. “Cut” disturbs the stack; “Draw” adds .flipped. CSS preserve-3d, opposing Y rotations and hidden backfaces make the reveal physical. Spread cards expose unique titles and oracle lines only after they are turned.
03 · Candlelight & velvet
Radial and oblique gradients suggest velvet and lacquer; an embedded fractal-noise SVG in .grain breaks digital smoothness. Two CSS candles use the flame keyframe while .candle-glow breathes at another tempo.
On load, cabinet panels open in perspective before type and the SVG sigil settle. initScrollReveals() conducts later entrances. A drawn seed also feeds constellationSVG(), waking a unique star diagram behind the card. Reduced-motion CSS removes doors, flicker, rotation and long flips; motion pauses whenever the document is hidden.
04 · Image craft
The boxed-deck study begins as a GPT Image 2 still made through Higgsfield. In the wider production workflow, selected stills become restrained Kling 3.0 ambient loops, then both poster and motion file are stored locally so the page makes no external request. This edition integrates the available /assets/gen/arcana/box.jpg as a candle-lens reliquary; initCandleLens() moves its light without replacing the photograph. Every card, sigil, border, constellation, texture and candle remains code-generated.

Both are self-hosted from /assets/fonts/. Gloock carries tight display roles; Crimson Pro handles copy, labels and tabular data.
